Prior to Owens: Edmonds comes to the Express basketball program after a decorated high school career. As a senior, he was named First Team All-Battle Creek League, First Team All-Southwestern Michigan Activities Association, and Honorable Mention All-Michigan. Additionally, he was a McDonald's High School All-American nominee and was a participant in the Basketball Coaching Association of Michigan (BCAM) All-Star game. He played for head coach Durant Crum at Albion.

Personal: Justin is the son of Bonnie Edmonds. He is a pre-culinary arts major at Owens.
