Bedford Product, Lehmann, Signs With Express Women's Soccer Program

Toledo, OH---Kayla Lehmann, a senior defender from Bedford High School, signed a letter of intent today to play for the Express women's soccer program next year.

The 5'4" Lehmann was named First Team All-Southeastern Conference (SEC), First Team All-District, and Monroe News First Team All-Region as a senior. Her team finished 9-7-2 overall and advanced to the district semifinals.

As a junior, she was Honorable Mention All-SEC. She was a four-year varsity starter at Bedford.

She joins her former Bedford teammate, Haley Kreger, with the Express. 

Notes

Lehmann becomes Whisler's sixth signee for next year. She joins Lacee Ortman (Southview High School/Sylvania, OH), Brittany Powell (Onsted High School/Onsted, MI), Kendyl Christian (Clay High School/Oregon, OH), Abby Groll (Clay High School/Oregon, OH) and Megan Soncrant (Clay High School/Oregon, OH).

The Express women's soccer team finished 13-2-3 last year and finished with the top overall record in Region XII during regular season play. They have 12 players returning from last year's team.
