2012: Cruz scored two goals and added one assist in his lone season with the Express.

Prior to Owens: Cruz sat out last season after transfering from Lakeland Community College, where he started all but two games for the Lakers during the 2010-11 school year. He is a 2010 graduate of Mentor Lake Catholic HS, where he played for coach Ante Pilokic.

Personal: Brandon is the son of Alan and Kelli Cruz. He has one sister, Kelsey.
