Our inaugural student-athlete spotlight goes to the 2011 Owens Express Women's Volleyball Team.

Owens finished the 2011 campaign with an overall record of 45-5 and went undefeated in OCCAC play (12-0), capturing the conference title.  The Express fell just one match shy of qualifying for the 2011 NJCAA Division II Women's Volleyball Tournament.  They fell to eventual national runner-up Oakland C.C. in the Region XII District E Championship Final.

Their 45-5 finish was just one win shy of the school record for wins, but the team did set school records for fewest losses (5) and highest winning percentage (.900).
