Nick Morrow Pitches Complete Game For A Win On Monday

This week’s Student-Athlete Spotlight features freshman left handed pitcher Nick Morrow.

During Monday’s split doubleheader, Morrow pitched the second game for a win (5-4) over Ashland University JV.  He pitched a complete game.

Morrow ended the day by allowing two hits, four runs (three earned) and five walks. He also struck out two over seven innings.

In 7.2 innings this year, Morrow has a 3.52 ERA. He has allowed only three hits.

While playing baseball at Fairfield (OH) High School, Morrow earned many honors and awards.  He was named SouthWest Ohio League All Star Team and named MVP in the Hoosier Classic High School Showcase Tournament. He also went 3-0 with a 1.00 ERA while leading his Lakota Diamond Dawgs 18U summer select travel team to an 18U K Sports Fall Championship and Fall Brawl Tournament Championship. He played for Coach Larry Price at Fairfield.

Morrow is the son of John and Lana Crabtree.  He has five siblings – Steve, Lindsay, Taylor, Kyle and Emma.
