This week’s Student-Athlete Spotlight features sophomore point guard, Danielle Bezeau.

Bezeau broke the single game assist record with a total of 14 (team-high) against Cuyahoga Community College on Feb. 6.  The Express won 89-42.

She had six assists in the first half and eight assists in the second.  Her night continued with team-highs of 12 rebounds (six offensive) and four steals while adding seven points.

Bezeau passed record holder Dawn Spencer who had 13 assists against Sinclair Community College (2-28-97).

Bezeau had six rebounds (two offensive), four assists and one steal during Saturday’s 71-55 win against Sinclair Community College.

Throughout the 2012-2013 basketball season, Bezeau averages 4.1 rebounds and five points a game.  She has a total of 90 assists and 47 steals this season.
