Toledo, OH---Stephanie Kipp of Ida High School has signed her letter of intent to play for the Express volleyball team beginning next year.
Kipp will play outside hitter/middle blocker next year for the Express. She joins Aricka LaVoy of Eastwood High School in Pemberville, OH as the first two signees for next year's freshmen class.
Aside from her time on the varsity team at Ida since 2009, Kipp has been a member of the Borderline Volleyball Club from 2009-11, the High Performance Lakeshore Region Club in 2011 and the Toledo Volleyball Club from 2011-present.
Following her sophomore year at Ida, Kipp was invited the attend the High Performance regional training camp at Western Michigan University. Moreover, she was one of ten players chosen to play at the High Performance Nationals in Arizona, where she helped her team bring home the bronze medal in the National Gold division behind Florida and Hawaii.
"It was an amazing experience and gave me the confidence to tryout for the 17 and under national team at the Toledo Volleyball Club," Kipp said.
It was during her junior season that Kipp left the Borderline Volleyball Club in Temperance, MI for the Toledo Volleyball Club, where she made the top ranked 17-and-under national team. In her first year with the TVC National team, she helped lead the team to a third place finish among 48 teams at the USAV Nationals in Columbus, OH.
During her time at Ida, Kipp has earned First Team All-League and 3rd Team Class B All-Michigan honors.
Stephanie is the daughter of Chris and Denise Kipp. She played for head coach Bree Rossow at Ida.
