Pemberville, OH---Aricka LaVoy, the reigning District 7 Player of the Year in Ohio, became the first student-athlete to sign with the Express volleyball team for next season.

The libero/defensive specialist from Eastwood HS was named First Team All-Northern Buckeye Conference (NBC) and First Team All-District her junior and senior years. Additionally, she was the NBC Player of the Year as a senior.

She set records for most digs (503) in a season and most aces in a season (81).

At Eastwood, LaVoy led a team coached by Jeff Beck to a district championship this past year. They finished 23-4 and made regionals for the first time since 2005. It was the most wins by an Eastwood team in 10 years.
