Champaign, ILL---The No. 4 Owens Express volleyball team stretched their winning streak to 18 with a 25-13, 25-21, 25-15 sweep of No. 7-ranked Kirkwood C.C. in the Parkland Invitational on Saturday.

However, No. 12-ranked Parkland College upset the Express 20-25, 19-25, 17-25 in their next match to end an 18 match winning streak for Owens.

The split moves the Express to 23-2 overall and 6-0 in the OCCAC. They are scheduled to take on OCCAC opponent Lorain County Community College Sept. 28 at 6 p.m. in a home matchup.
