Jackie Phillips has been named Head Coach for the 2026 Season.
Prior to Owens, Phillips spent 11 seasons at Lourdes University in which she started the program in 2014. A respected collegiate coach with a strong commitment to player development, academics, and character, Phillips established Lourdes as a highly competitive program within the NAIA.
Since taking over the program in 2014, Phillips has guided Lourdes to multiple WHAC Tournament appearances while developing numerous All-WHAC performers, NAIA Scholar-Athletes, and academic award recipients. In 2025, Phillips was named the WHAC Coach of the Year and a two-time recipient of the WHAC Champions of Character Coach Award, reflecting her commitment to sportsmanship, integrity, leadership, and excellence within collegiate athletics. The program has also earned WHAC Champions of Character honors and produced the school's first NAIA National Player of the Week selection.
Prior to Lourdes, Phillips served as associate head coach at Adrian College and previously worked with Frostburg State University as a graduate assistant coach. As a player at Frostburg State, she earned All-AMCC honors and helped lead the Bobcats to an NCAA Tournament appearance.
In addition to her collegiate coaching experience, Phillips has been active in club soccer and Olympic Development Program coaching, including work with Michigan and Ohio ODP, Michigan Tigers and Pacesetter Soccer Club. She holds coaching licenses through both the United Soccer Coaches Association and the United States Soccer Federation.
Phillips earned her bachelor's degree in communication studies from Frostburg State University in 2009 and later completed her MBA at Frostburg State in 2011.
She resides in Oregon, Ohio with her husband, Jim and two children Michael and Mya.
