Jessica Lewis begins her first season as an assistant coach for the Express women's basketball program after coaching at her alma mater, Toledo Central Catholic last year as a varsity assistant.

The University of Michigan graduate started four years for the Wolverines and scored nearly 1,000 points and ranks second in Michigan history in career 3-point field goals made. As a senior captain, she was named All-Big Ten and team MVP.

A Title 1 teacher at Lake Erie Academy in Toledo, Lewis is married to Express men's basketball assistant coach Travis Lewis.
