High School: 2005 Tri-Valley High School graduate, Dresden, Ohio, where she was First Team All-Muskingum Valley League and an Archie Griffin Sportsmanship Award recipient.  Schumaker also was First Team All-MVL and Second Team All-District in volleyball and an Ohio High School Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association Scholar Athlete Award winner in softball.  Additionally, she was a member of the National Honor Society.
