Murphy Becomes Fourth To Sign With Express Softball For 2013-14

Toledo, OH---Kendall Murphy, a senior catcher/third baseman at Maumee High School, signed a letter of intent to play softball for the Express during a cermony at Owens Community College last week.

Murphy, who is coached by Shawn Watson at Maumee, was named Honorable Mention All-Northern Lakes League as a junior, and she participated in the Adidas Futures Game last summer.

Academically, she is an honor roll student and a member of the National Honor Society.

Kendall joins Lesley Ducat (RHP, Evergreen HS/Metamora, OH), Alexandra Veres (Catcher, Cardinal Stritch HS/Oregon, OH) and Chelsea Evans (RHP, Grass Lake HS/Jackson, MI) as one of four members of the 2013-14 Express softball freshmen class.
