2009: Zappone had 22 hits, 16 runs, 15 RBI and a .286 batting average.

High School: Zappone was First Team All-Northern Lakes League, First Team All-District and Second Team All-Maumee Mirror. She also participated in the Northwest Ohio District All-Star game and was named Springfield's Athlete of the Year.
