2000 season: Shank was an NJCAA Academic All-American as a sophomore.

1999 season: Shank was First Team All-Region XII, Honorable Mention All-OCCAC, Academic All-OCCAC team, team MVP and the team's offensive player of the year.

High School: Shank was Second Team All-NLL and team MVP at BG.
