Title: Assistant Coach

Entering his third season with Owens Community College, Brian serves as both Assistant Coach and Goalkeeping Coach, bringing a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success at multiple levels of the game. During his time with the program, he has helped lead Owens to back-to-back league and district championships, while also coaching the OCCAC Goalkeeper of the Year in 2024.

Prior to joining Owens, Brian spent over a decade coaching at the high school level, establishing himself as a leader of one of the premier programs in Northwest Ohio. At Ottawa Hills High School, he worked alongside Head Coach Nate Baer before taking over the program and helping sustain its reputation as an elite, championship-caliber team. During his time with the program, Ottawa Hills compiled an overall record of 74-22-10, capturing four league titles, four sectional championships, four district titles, and three regional championships, while making three consecutive state semifinal appearances and advancing to a state final.

Brian’s success has been recognized with multiple coaching honors, including Northwest District Parochial Coach of the Year, TAAC League Coach of the Year, and District Coach of the Year. In addition to his high school experience, he has coached at the club level, working with U16 through U19 programs and helping develop players for the next level.

Brian is a graduate of Heidelberg University in Tiffin, Ohio, where he was a four-year member of the men’s soccer program.

He currently resides in the Toledo area with his wife, Brittney, and their three daughters, Brynleigh, Bexley, and Bostyn.
