Scottsboro, AL---The No. 3 Express men's golf team shot a 298 during the first day of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) D-II National Tournament.

As a team, the Express are currently tied for eighth place. South Mountain Community College is in first place at 284. The Express are currently seven shots back of third place Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College.
Hoelzer's 70 is good for a tie for fifth place individually.
