Defiance, OH---Blaze Hogan shot a 68 and was tied for first place prior to lightning and rain forcing a cancellation of the Defiance College Fall Invitational.

The Express had completed their 18 holes, but a few teams hadn't finished - forcing the cancellation.

Other scores for the Express were Darren Gessner (72), Luke Berger (74), Timothy Dawkins (74), Jason Glass (78), Brandon Hoelzer (81) and Walter Dorosh (82).

As a team, the Express shot a 288, which would have been four shots off the program single round record for the team. They were in first place when play was halted.

The Express will compete in the Ken Venturi Invitational at Trine University on Sept. 28 beginning at 1 p.m.
