Prior to Owens: Brumenshenkel was a First Team All-Northern Lakes League and First Team All-District selection at Anthony Wayne. A golfer since he was 8 years old, he lists his greatest personal sports thrill as the two holes in one he has achieved.

Personal: Brian is the son of Dan and Alison Brumenshenkel. His father played baseball for the University of Toledo from 1976-1979. He is a business management major at Owens.
