Express lost twice to Hocking College, 10-6 and 9-6, both in extra innings.

Game 1: Express walked fourteen hitters on the day leading to ten runs on just four hits. Lucas Gerken pitched well out of relief, throwing 7.1 innings and allowing just one hit, striking out seven. The offense tallied 8 hits on the day but couldn't string much together early. In the bottom of the seventh, the Express rattled off four runs to tie it. A big bases-clearing double by Hadryn Nowicki scored three runs to take the game into extra innings. Ultimately, the team gave up four in the 10th inning to lose game 1. 

Game 2: Colin Raleigh was exceptional on the mound. Throwing 6.1 innings, allowing just four hits and three runs. In the bottom of the 7th inning, Kale Wilkins hit a three-run HR to tie the game to send it into extra innings again. Same as the first game, the pitching gave up a few runs in extras to lose game 2.
