High School: 2009 Perrysburg High School graduate, Perrysburg, Ohio, where he earned First Team All-Northern Lakes League, First Team All-Wood County and Second Team All-Ohio honors.  Additionally, Schmenk was named team MVP and a member of the First Team All-NLL Academic and All-Ohio Mizuno teams.
