Owens Career: In 2001, he set an Owens record for saves in a season with six.  Cowell recorded two victories and was second on the team with a 1.25 earned run average.

High School: 2000 Lake High School graduate, Millbury, Ohio, where he earned Second Team All-Suburban Lakes League honors for two years.
