West Bloomfield, MI---Kheri Motley, a 5'7" guard/forward, became the seventh member of the 2013-14 Express women's basketball recruiting class on Wednesday.
The West Bloomfield High School product signed her letter of intent during a ceremony at her high school.
Motley was a four-year starter for the Lakers.
As a senior, Motley averaged 12.4 points, 7.9 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per game. She scored in double figures in 10 of 21 games with a season-high 19 coming against North Farmington on Dec. 14.
On the glass, Motley never had fewer than five rebounds in a game and hit double figures five times. Her season-high of 11 was reached three times. She also had at least one offensive rebound in every game and added at least two steals on seven occasions.
Following the season, she earned All-Oakland Activities Association (OAA) Red Division and All-District honors. She helped West Bloomfield advance to the district finals.
As a junior, Motley hit double figures in scoring nine times, with a season-high 18 coming against Southfield-Lathrup on Jan. 19. In terms of rebounding, she hit double figures five times, including a season-high 13 against Troy on Dec. 16. She also had at least two steals in 12 games.
She earned All-OAA Red Division honors following the season and helped her team win the district championship.

Motley joins prior signees Ashley Tunstall (5'10" G/F, Wayne High School), Paige Wright (5'10" G, Fort Wayne Northrop High School/Saginaw Valley State University), Zhana Randolph (5'10" G/F, Rochester High School), Hannah Griffin (5'11" F, Edgerton High School), Maura Hackney (6'1" F/C, Edgewood High School) and LaKayra Carlisle (5'10" G/F, Detroit Pershing High School).
The Express women's basketball team finished 28-8 last season and advanced to the NJCAA D-II National Tournament, where they finished seventh in the nation. During the season, they captured the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference (OCCAC) title, as well as the Region XII District I title. Their 28 wins marked the second most in a single season.
