Toledo, OH---Glenroy Miller, a sophomore forward on the Express men's soccer team, has been named the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference (OCCAC) Player of the Week for the week ending Sept. 2.
Miller jumped out to six goals in the season's first three games to earn the honor.
On Aug. 25, he scored twice in the first half to help the Express upset No. 16 Cincinnati State 5-1 in the team's opening OCCAC matchup. Then, on Aug. 29, Miller scored all three goals for the Express in a 3-1 win over Jackson CC on the road. He then added one goal in a loss against Ancilla College on Sept. 2.
It was the first award of the season for the OCCAC.
For the year, Miller has scored seven goals, and he has raised his career goal total to 23. With his 22nd goal, he moved into the top five in career goals in Express men's soccer history.
The Express (3-1-1) are scheduled to take on Lincoln Land Community College at 1 p.m. E.S.T. today in Springfield, IL.
