Prior to Owens: Bachman is a 2012 graduate of North Side HS. He earned First Team All-Summitt Athletic Conference (SAC) honors his senior year, Second Team his junior year and Honorable Mention All-SAC honors his sophomore year. Additionally, he was named First Team All-Area with the Redskins. He participated in the Border Wars All-Star game, was a top 25 player in Indiana and participated in the prestigious IBCA Indiana Top 100 camp.

Personal: Andy is the son of Bob and Chris Bachman. He has one brother, Ryan.
