Toledo, OH---The next two days will prove to be a busy time for Owens athletics - both home and away. We can't be at every event to update you live, but here's your guide to what's going on and how you can check out the action via internet streaming or other ways.
Saturday
- The Express women's soccer team (2-0) will take on Monroe Community College in Rochester, NY at 11 a.m. The game will be broadcast live on the internet at IHigh.com/MonroeTribunes, and it will be archived online at the same link. You can also follow live updates on our Twitter page (@OwensExpress).
- The No. 15 Express volleyball team (6-2) will host three different opponents in the Owens Invitational on Saturday.They will take on Schoolcraft College at 12:30 p.m., No. 8 Johnson County Community College at 4 p.m. and No. 20 Genesee Community College at 5:45 p.m. Live updates will be posted throughout the day for all three matches on our Twitter page (@OwensExpress).
- The Express men's golf team will continue its fall schedule in the second day of the Olivet College Invitational. Heading into action Saturday, the team was in third place - seven shots back of the lead. It is their first invitational of the fall.
Sunday
- The Express women's soccer team will take on Mercyhurst North East Community College in North East, PA beginning at 2 p.m. At this time, there is no live stream and we're unable to be on site to do live updates via Twitter. We will, however, post the score and a game recap ASAP once we find out the results.
- The Express men's soccer team (2-0) will hit the road to take
on Ancilla College at 1 p.m. They will be going for the program's
second 3-0 start since its inception in 1998. The 2005 team, the
best in program history, started 7-0. The game will be broadcast
live on the internet at http://www.rrsn.com/. The game will also be archived
on that site for the next year.
- The No. 15 Express volleyball team will close out the Owens Invitational with two more matches. They will battle No. 3 Kishwaukee College at 11:45 a.m. before facing Illinois Central College at 1:30 p.m. You can follow live updates on Twitter (@OwensExpress)
